If you’re planning a trip to Disney, you’ve probably heard about the online tool called My Disney Experience. It is a tool where you can log in your choices for tickets, lodging, food, and transportation and then save all of your ticket information and passes are in one place. It can also keep you updated about any changes to your reservations and provide notifications about information about things that are happening in the park including character meet and greets, photo opportunities, and times for park shows.

Use the app to connect with family and friends who are traveling with you
In addition to helping you keep all of your visit logistics straight, one of the best uses for the app is to help family and friends connect with each other share park-related information in real-time. For example, if one member of the group makes a reservation at a park restaurant, everyone else is automatically notified. This feature makes group coordination a lot easier.
What to do if your Fast Pass or other reservations disappear off your app
Sometimes, reservations disappear off of the app. Luckily, it usually it is usually an easy fix.
One of the most stressful moments that can occur with the app is that documentation of any of your reservations disappear. They’re just not on your screen and you aren’t sure what happened to them. This is something that can happen on the My Disney Experience app. Fortunately, it is easy to fix. Deleting the app and reinstalling it usually solves the problem.
To be extra sure you have documentation, screen capture your reservations
If you want to be 100% sure that your information won’t be lost, take a moment to screen capture them once they show up in the app for the first time. If there’s a problem and your ticket seems to disappear, a screen capture provides proof of what you’ve ordered. It also comes in handy if the system goes down or if you can’t connect to WiFi.
What to do if you’ve forgotten your password
When you’re planning your trip or you’re in the middle of your vacation, there’s a lot going on. It can be easy to forget your password. If this happens, complete the password recovery process even if it means you have to take the time to call guest services.
Whatever you do, DON’T create a duplicate account. Though it may seem like a simple answer at first, having two accounts can be extremely confusing for the system, for guest services if you need them, and for you, as you go forward working with My Disney Experience. You could also miss important notices and updates to your ticket because they are sent to the previous account that you’re no longer working with.
If you notice a duplicate account, talk to guest services
Duplicate accounts happen, and when they do they only create confusion. If you notice that there is a second account under your name, contact guest services to get the situation resolved. You want to be sure that all of your messages, communications, and activity updates are taking place under one account in the app so that you don’t miss important information.
